Art For Sale! Launch of My Online Artwork Store

Art and Paintings For Sale! Welcome to My New Online Artwork Store...

Art and paintings for sale - abstract watercolour image - learning to fly

Since buying our new house I have had much more room to paint, and much more space to fill with paintings...! I have decided to sell paintings, artwork, and prints of them also.  Most original work is for sale, and some items are high quality giclee prints.

The most affordable paintings for sale are the (very affordable) and very varied 18 x 18cm oil pastel pictures at £15 each (See this page). There is an enormous variety and I am constantly adding new items. I have only added a small proportion of them so far, so come back regularly if you're interested in seeing more of these. These pictures are framed with white mountboard, however I have access to  perfectly fitting ready-made frames in various colours so contact me if you would like to buy a frame also.

The online store is on the main page and you can buy items quickly and easily through Google Checkout. I also accept paypal so you can contact me if you want to pay using that instead.

Giclee Art Prints

The prints are highest quality Giclee prints, and created to order so please allow up to 10 working days. The size of the prints is pre-specfied but if you want a different size contact me (lise.griffiths86@gmail.com)

Bespoke Artwork

I am also available to create bespoke artwork including interior design stencils, murals and designs, or even smaller scale work. Again, please contact me for further information so I can give you an idea of price and availability (lise.griffiths86@gmail.com)

Using Art in Home Interiors to Disguise and Enhance

Tibetan Prayer Flag Surreal artwork in interior design - disguising a fusebox.

Interior Desgin - Using Artwork to Disguise an Electric Fuse Box in My Living Room!

I'm usually reluctant to put up my own artwork in my home too often, as I will only want to change it or add to it everytime I walk past it. This makes for very frustrating living!

However when we bought our new house, there was one thing we really hated (you have to give in to somethings with house-buying!) It was a fuse box RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LIVING AREA! Who wants that there? And more importantly, who decides to put it there!?

Below is a before and after of the artwork I created:

The fusebox stuck out much more than a regular canvas so I had to make a custom sort of 'box' from mountboard. I measured it all up, scored down the areas I wanted to fold, folded it in to make a box without a back, and secured it with heavy duty bonding tape. Below is a close-up of the artwork and the box it is painted on.

I had been wondering what sort of artwork to put up for ages, and I couldn't find anything I liked so I decided to paint it myself, then I couldn't thiink what to paint. The piece is inspired by Tibetan Prayer Flags that I saw in my world lonely planet book. I really want to go there someday, and the picture was so pretty, the flags were fluttering in the breeze and t hey were lovely bright colours just like my living room.

I am available to do any sort of bespoke artwork like this so if you need anything disguising or just want something similar please let me know and I will be happy to dicuss prices. My art is always for sale, even if I haven't painted it yet! :)
